Unfortunately, the links generated for a standalone survey pages are fixed, however, you can create a redirect within your Shopify online store to redirect someone to the standalone survey page. This will allow you to publish a more aesthetically pleasing URL.
You can create a Shopify URL redirect by going to:
Shopify Admin > Sales channels > Online Store > Navigation > View URL redirects
You can create a redirect for each standalone survey page that you create.
Here's an example of how you could create a redirect for a URL of your choosing to a standalone survey page within your online store:
What about survey URL parameters?
Any URL parameters that are present on the redirected link will also be carried through to the standalone survey page link.
For example, let's say you created the following redirect from link on your store:
https://mystore.com/brand_survey
Redirected to:
https://mystore.com/tools/survey/64819fcb6cbf4
If you're using a marketing automation or email sending platform to send out the survey link, you may want the survey response to be attributed to the customer. To do this, you can include either the Shopify order id, the Shopify customer id or the customers email address as a URL parameter:
https://mystore.com/brand_survey?email=customer@mycustomer.com
When that link is clicked, the customer will be redirected through to the full standalone survey page link which will include the identifiable URL parameter:
https://mystore.com/tools/survey/64819fcb6cbf4?email=customer@mycustomer.com
Once the survey is submitted, the response will automatically be associated with the customer in your Shopify store.
