Setting up your Grapevine survey is simple. The first thing that you need to decide on, however, is the type of survey that you'd like to present to your customers.
Grapevine currently has three types of survey to choose from:
-
Fixed Response
Also known as a closed-end question, this survey is best suited for when you'd prefer to offer your customers a predefined list of answer options. It's the most common survey type for asking customers how they heard about you. You also have the ability to add an "other" answer option to this survey so that customers can answer in their own words if none of your predefined answer options apply to them.

-
Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Want to know how loyal your customers are and if they're likely to recommend you to others? Calculate your NPS score by asking your customers how likely they are to recommend your business to a colleague or friend and you’ll learn what your customers think of you. This type of survey helps you to react quickly to any negative feedback and provides a benchmark of how you compare against competitors in your industry.

Open Text
Open up a conversation with this question. These are good survey questions to get more meaningful answers from your customers as they have the opportunity to give you more feedback through a text box. Don't use this survey type if you're just looking for a simple yes/no answer.
