Setting up a Grapevine survey is simple. To begin, you'll need to decide on what types of questions you'd like to ask. Any number of question types can be combined within a multi-question survey.
We currently have the following question types to select from:
-
Single-choice Response
Also known as a close-ended question, this survey is best suited for when you'd prefer to offer your customers a predefined list of answer options. It's the most common question type for asking customers how they heard about you. An "Other" option can also be added to the survey question, giving customers the opportunity to provide their own response if your predefined options don't fit.

-
Multiple-choice Response
This question type lets your customers select all relevant options, helping you capture the full range of factors influencing their purchase decisions. By allowing multiple selections, these survey questions can minimise frustration and reduce the risk of incomplete or inaccurate responses. An "Other" option (mentioned above) can also be added to this multiple-choice question type.

-
Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Want to know how loyal your customers are and if they're likely to recommend you to others? Calculate your NPS score by asking your customers how likely they are to recommend your business to a colleague or friend and you’ll learn what your customers think of you. This type of survey question can help you to react quickly to any negative feedback and provides a benchmark of how you compare against competitors in your industry.

-
Open Text
Open up a conversation with this question. These are good survey questions to get more meaningful answers from your customers as they have the opportunity to give you more feedback through a text box. Don't use this question type if you're just looking for a simple yes/no answer.

Content Block
If you're looking to break-up your multi-question survey by providing a bit of information between a set of questions, then this is a perfect place to deploy a content block that provides more context to a set of questions.
