Once the survey question and responses have been defined, you will no doubt wish to see how the survey will appear to your customers.
There are three ways in which you can view/preview your survey widget:
Widget Preview
Within the Survey Builder view there is a Widget Preview area to the right hand side of the page (desktop view) that represents the survey widget that will appear on your Order Status Page.
The Widget Preview does not pick up and apply your store's global styles or show the survey in the context of the Order Status Page, however, it will give you a good idea as to how the survey question will appear within the widget.
Please Note:
The next two options for viewing the survey widget will require that your survey visibility has been enabled. To check this, go into the Edit Survey view within the Grapevine app, either via the Edit button on main screen:
Or via the Edit Survey button from within the Survey view:
and then ensure that the relevant channel visibility has been enabled within the Manage Visibility dropdown:
Place an order on your store
Placing an order on your store will allow you to view the Grapevine survey on your Order Status Page. You will then receive exactly the same experience as your customers.
View an existing order status page
If you would prefer not to place an order on your store but have existing orders in your Shopify Admin area, then this option may be more suitable for you.
To view an existing Order Status Page, go to Shopify Admin > Orders and then select any order from your orders list.
From the order view, click on the More actions dropdown and then select the View order status page option:
You will then see the Order Status Page for that order and the Grapevine Survey Widget should then appear just underneath the order summary details:
What if the survey widget does not appear?
If the survey associated with an order has already been submitted, the survey question will not appear again on that Order Status Page.
If the survey widget does not appear on your Order Status Page, then please do contact our support team and we will take a look into the issue.
