What does it do?
If you sell in person using the Shopify POS app you can present the Grapevine survey question to your Customers via the Shopify POS app. Asking your customers the survey question in person is a great way to increase your survey response rate and to get to know more about the customer in front of you.
How do I enable it?
If you already have Shopify POS enabled in your store, then enabling this feature is very simple.
Within the Grapevine app, click on the POS view from the main navigation menu.
There is only one setting on the POS view page so please check the POS enabled checkbox to enable the POS feature:
How does it work?
During your next POS checkout you will notice that there are three dots in the top right hand corner of the Checkout complete screen within the POS display:
Click on the three dots and you will see that there is a Complete Survey option in the dropdown window:
Clicking on the Complete Survey option will open up the Grapevine survey form and you can then ask the customer your survey question and capture their response:
Click on the dropdown box to see the available options to choose from:
Select the option that most suits your Customer's response:
If none of the pre-configured options match your Customer's response and you have configured the Other option in your survey question, then you can type the Customer's response straight into the available text field:
Once you have captured the answer to the survey question, hit the Submit button and you will see a notification at the top of the window confirming the successful survey submission:
Checking your survey submissions
You can make sure that survey submissions are being captured via POS instantly by heading straight over to the Grapevine app, either within POS or via your online store.
To view the latest survey submissions, go to Apps > Grapevine > Submissions (main menu)
The latest submission will be at the top of the list and Grapevine will have identified that it is a submission from the Shopify POS app:
You can export your survey data to filter your survey submissions by the method that they were captured, i.e. survey reminder, POS or Order Status Page.
